[:cs]Ve \u0161kole jsme v r\u00e1mci p\u0159edm\u011btu Biomechanika vytv\u00e1\u0159eli semestr\u00e1ln\u00ed projekt na t\u00e9ma Rozd\u00edly v mechanick\u00fdch vlastnostech chlup\u016f ps\u016f. Zkoumali jsme n\u011bkolik plemen a samoz\u0159ejm\u011b jsme pou\u017eili i vzorek chlup\u016f pudla.<\/p>\n

V\u0161echny vzorky chlup\u016f jsme nejprve pod mikroskopem vyfotili, zm\u011b\u0159ili si jejich pr\u016fm\u011br a<\/p>\n

n\u00e1sledn\u011b jsme zkou\u0161eli, co vydr\u017e\u00ed v tzv. trha\u010dce. V trha\u010dce se chlupy za dan\u00e9 teploty a vlhkosti natahovaly, dokud se nep\u0159etrhly. T\u00edm jsme zji\u0161\u0165ovali jejich elasticitu a pevnost.<\/p>\n

Jak jsou na tom pudl\u00ed chlupy ve srovn\u00e1n\u00ed s t\u011bmi ostatn\u00edmi?<\/p>\n

Vzorek pudl\u00edho chlupu m\u011bl ze v\u0161ech vzork\u016f nejmen\u0161\u00ed pr\u016fm\u011br (18,6 \u00b5m), pr\u016fm\u011brn\u00fd pr\u016fm\u011br chlupu sledovan\u00e9ho souboru vzork\u016f byl\u00a0101,25 \u00b5m. Pro srovn\u00e1n\u00ed p\u0159id\u00e1v\u00e1m fotky zmi\u0148ovan\u00e9ho pudl\u00edho chlupu a chlupu n\u011bmeck\u00e9ho ov\u010d\u00e1ka, jeho\u017e vzorek chlupu m\u011bl z cel\u00e9ho souboru nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed pr\u016fm\u011br (119,85 \u00b5m).<\/p>\n

Trochu rozd\u00edl, co? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Zaj\u00edmav\u00e9 tak\u00e9 byly pro pudly v\u00fdsledky testu mechanick\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed na trha\u010dce. Mez elasticity u pudl\u00edho chlupu byla 200 % oproti pr\u016fm\u011brn\u00e1 hodnota v\u0161ech vzork\u016f, kter\u00e1 byla 79 %. Mez pevnosti pudl\u00edho chlupu byla 20 % (mez pevnosti cel\u00e9ho souboru vzork\u016f v pr\u016fm\u011bru 17 %.<\/p>\n

Co z toho vypl\u00fdv\u00e1? Pudl\u00ed chlupy se dok\u00e1\u017eou pom\u011brn\u011b hodn\u011b prot\u00e1hnout, ani\u017e by do\u0161lo k trval\u00e9 deformaci vlasu. Z\u00e1rove\u0148 jsou pom\u011brn\u011b pevn\u00e9, chvilku trv\u00e1, ne\u017e se p\u0159etrhnou.[:en]We did an\u00a0interesting experiment as a semestral work for the subject Biomechanics in the University I attend. We examined mechanical properties of dog hair. We examined various samples of various breeds. Of course we had also a sample of poodle hair.<\/p>\n

We microscoped all the samples and did a photo of all of them. Then we measured them. Subsequently we tested their mechanical properties in a special device, which tested their\u00a0elastic and strength limits.<\/p>\n

Is the poodle hair different from the other samples?<\/p>\n

Yes, it it. The poodle hair sample had the smallest diameter of all the samples, only 18,6 \u00b5m. The average diameter of all the samples was 101, 25 \u00b5m, the largest hair diameter was measured in the german shepherd sample (119,85 \u00b5m).<\/p>\n

What a difference \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The results of the mechanical testing was also interesting. The elastic limit of the poodle hair is about 200 % compared to the average 79 % of the set. The strength limit of the poodle hair was 20 % (the set average was 17 %).<\/p>\n

What it means? Poodle hair is extremely elastic, it may be elongated a lot before it deforms. They are also strong, it takes a while before it breaks.<\/p>\n
