November has been a creative and also a walking month. Due to the winter time we mostly walk the dogs with a torch after the darkness falls, so during the weekends we did a daylight walks together with a rest of our dog and family pack.
Minion, Donatello and Tess had to wait until I clean up our family pub. Then we could walk for the nature. There’s Maja on the second picture watching the village aslo from the pub.
Tessie with broken knee ligaments participated our walks being carried. Thank god she weights only 2,5 kg.
And the rest of them were walking on their own…
We also spent few November afternoons sewing new winter dog jackets, while the girls were wathing the village center from the window…
And there they are… Charlie and Minion in the new jackets. On the second picture there’s Jerry in his new dinosaurus jacket 😀
Mmy shades of amber …
After few months I couldn’t work I started to groom our pack. Finally also Charlie is handsome nicely smelling boy. I must admit he’s enjoing the stay in house a lot 🙂
Tessie’s crucial ligament surgery was postponed for one week later. On this picture she’s one day after the surgery and trying to be a boss of my office. Just typical Tess. In the beginning of December we have an appointment for the control x-ray and then we will have other one and a half moth of a restricted calm regime.
On Sunday July 24 we’ve attended other coursing training – this time with Diamond and Maja (because Minion’s got the heat for the first time). Maja did her first training great and both with Diamond enjoyed the morning great.
Our Anniversary litter’s celebrated 13 months at July 9.
We have nice pictures and news from Woody. He’s a great cuddler and also loves to thumb on his back…
At home, I was trying to take some dog family pictures, but it is quite impossible to me to catch all our dogs in the shot.
Although I’m not a partidary of young dogs in the continental clip, I decided to shear Minion in it due to unexpected coat change (strange at this age, isn’t is :)?). We will have to wait a little until the clip fits and for the coat to grow up a little more. But by now both of us are very very contented.
Diamond had a little more bad luck. Due to parts of his coat completely missing and due to being extremely tangled I had to scissor him in a kind of modern clip. I truly hate this clip that makes him even bigger than he is. I’m really looking forward to clip him in something more suitable (yes, my secret wish is a continental too but we will se if we are able to maintain his hair).
Also our adults got a little bit shorter clips. Charlie is since some time ago being shaved “to the skin” from the top of nose to the top of the tail. We all realy love this trim, don’t ask me why…
And our Maja got the bikini trim again, still need to grow up some parts even more, but by now also contented.
And in the and a message to my mother: Mum, I love you even if you hate brushing 🙂
I’ve entered Maja to this year’s last show (and probably for some longer time last show) in České Budějovice. The poodles were judged by a breed specialist Sanda Kekez-Veselič. Maja got in open class excellent 1 CAC and fulfilled conditions for the Czech champion title.
We met there Maja’s litter brother Amber (Foster’s Lord Amber), who lives with his owner in Germany.
We had a nice day the last August Sunday with Maja at IDS Mladá Boleslav (CZ). The poodles were judged by a breed specialist Jaroslava Ovesná (CZ).
Maja showed herself perfectly and was commended by the judgge for the type, nice head, pigmentation, topline and neck-set with result Ex. 1 CAC, res. CACIB. I’m very happy!
And finally after more than two years of searching I managed to find suitable rubber bands for the home oil banding which are not bursting! Laineé wrap bands. Pink colour was a clear choice for a blondie 🙂
This year is extremely busy for us. Finally, this June we had more time to spend with our dogs.
Club specialty Konopiště June 9th
After one year show break I entered Charlie to small club show near the place we live. I reported it in the spring post. Since the same day Charlie enjoys his terrier clip and lazy country life.

Outi Tenho visit in Prague June 21st
I had great opportunity to spend a Monday afternoon talking and sipping coffee with Outi Tenho and her daughter Rebecca from Old House kennel in Finland. Thank you both for the nice talk and hope to repeat it someday!
The last lesson of the agility course for begginers June 25th
The last Wednesday of June we spent on the last lesson of the agility course. The weather was perfect. This time there were prepared some jumps also for the owners. In the end of the lesson we has a hobby run. This time Maja was very quick and not concentered so we got a lot of penalty points. Charlie ran – as usually – fine a certain and won the first place! He won other five free agility lessons for us and other nice gifts. We have a couple of videos from the end of the training, so the dogs are tired and unfocused a little. I’m sorry for not having rolled the first runs which were perfect to me.
National dogshow Klatovy June 29th
The last June Sunday I entered Maja to national dogshow in Klatovy (CZ). She was shown after a half year show break and with a lack of hair (eaten by Charlie a month and a half before). Despite of that – she realy had her day, she ran with energie and joy. In competition Maja won BOB!
